Vijayasarathy Ranganathan, UX Architect

Hi There! With over 17 years of experience as a User Experience Architect, I have successfully collaborated with industry leaders in diverse sectors such as Automobile (Toyota, Cummins), Agro (Syngenta), Banking and Financials (World Bank Group, Toyota Financial Service), Pharma (Glaxo), Telecom (AT&T, Airtel), and eCommerce (Walmart, Infosys Edge, Andersen Windows). My expertise lies in leveraging user experience design and research to address complex business use cases and craft innovative product solutions.

Throughout my career, I have delivered key strategic products, roadmaps, and design studios for renowned clients, including World Bank Group, Syngenta, Toyota, Walmart, Fujitsu, and Andersen Windows. My overarching goal is to design products that foster collaboration, serving as a team player with end-users. I prioritize understanding and addressing user needs, aiming to avoid any sense of deficiency while factoring in the recency bias when applicable.

My project portfolio spans a wide range, from defining enterprise search strategies to envisioning the future of intranet and mobility. I have contributed to supply chain management and automation, B2B social networks, the evolution of social commerce, and the redesign of farming applications. Additionally, my work has involved optimizing enterprise travel security processes through user research and journey maps, product roll-out strategies, enterprise persona development, and the design of consumer privacy gateways for major retail chains, among other projects.

Whether working independently or leading teams of strategists, designers, and technologists, I have consistently partnered with industry-leading companies to deliver impactful UX solutions. When conducting ethnographic studies, my approach as a product designer involves keen observation of users interacting with everyday items. Recognizing the balance of habituation, I strategically identify and address problems that users may no longer notice, collaborating with business teams to implement solutions seamlessly for the end-user.
